Arriving in the United States from Bulgaria at the age of 21, Rado Stefanov dived into further exploring his affinity for progressive house, melodic techno and rock music production. With guitar as his main instrument, he was a member of The Hooplas, performing at local venues in Maryland during 2014–15 before relocating to San Francisco, where his focus naturally shifted toward progressive and melodic house music.

This path eventually led to the formation of Soundproof US in 2021 alongside Serbian tech house DJ and producer NEM. The collective performed at some of San Francisco’s most iconic venues, including Audio SF, The Midway, Halcyon SF, 1015 Folsom and Public Works, supporting acts such as Oliver Smith, Shouse, OXIA, Wassu and Alex Sonata.

In November 2022 Stefanov released his first single “Lighthouse” under his artist name Readol on the French label Teoxane Production, followed by the 2023 EP “Milieu.” Since then his versatile productions have found their way onto labels including Therefore Records, Droid9, Progressive Vibes Music and Immersed Recordings, where his track “Meridian” became one of his most recognized releases.

Alongside his artist work Stefanov founded Emochine, an independent imprint focused on emotionally driven melodic electronic music and authentic artistic expression, serving as a platform for both his own productions and emerging artists exploring the deeper and more melodic side of electronic music.
