About

“Better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in a war.”

Miyamoto Musashi

Rado Stefanov is a youth soccer coach, music producer, and mentor whose career bridges competitive sport, creative expression, and community development. Born and raised in Razgrad, Bulgaria, his early playing years with one of the city’s top youth clubs shaped a lifelong passion for soccer. Health challenges pulled him away from high-level competition, but they also opened the door to a coaching career built on technical excellence, resilience, and joy.

Since moving to the United States at 21, Rado has coached in competitive clubs, school programs, and community initiatives that bring the game to kids from all walks of life. He currently coaches with SF Vikings SC and serves as Head Coach for both the boys’ and girls’ soccer teams at Presidio Middle School. His approach blends structure with joy, encouraging players to take risks, learn from mistakes, and grow both on and off the field.

Through Ridgeplay Academy, launching in 2026, Rado is creating an environment where young athletes can develop skills, confidence, and character that last a lifetime.

Beyond the field, Rado is a music producer who occasionally performs at events that are the right fit for his style and schedule. He releases tracks under his main alias Readol and other creative names, producing a blend of organic, progressive, and melodic house and techno. His music has been signed to labels around the world, and in 2025 he founded Emochine, an independent label focused on emotionally engaging electronic music and supporting new artists.

Rado also plays guitar and has a lifelong appreciation for rock music. That influence runs through Four Ones, a project that brings together guitar work, simple storytelling, and a rock-inspired sound.

Whether working with young players on the field, producing in the studio, or picking up a guitar, Rado applies the same principles — discipline, creativity, and the commitment to steady growth over time. Principles aligned with the quote by Musashi at the opening of this page.
